Mobility Scooter and Wheelchair RepairsAt PC Mobility Services, you have access to the UK's largest electrical / electronic mobility repair specialist, whether you purchased the mobility scooter or wheelchair from us or not. Our experienced team of engineers service and repair all makes and models of mobility scooters and power chairs at our fully equipped workshop, and provide a detailed estimate prior to any repair work being carried out. If you need your scooter collected and brought to our workshop, this can be arranged for a nominal charge (limited to the South Wales area only). Courtesy scooters are also available for hire whilst yours is being repaired. Annual Service InspectionMost manufacturers recommend that you service your powered vehicle once a year for safety reasons, and at PC Mobility Services, we provide a full multi-point inspection, which includes areas such as: Batteries & Connections, Battery charger, Seating, Wheels & Tyres, Controls & Wiring Connections, Lights/horn, Brakes. Steering Column/Tiller, Chassis Joints, and Transaxle mounts. We also check the scooter's built in computer log to check for any errors logged during normal running. The vehicle is road tested to check functionality,braking and handling. If any major faults are discovered during the service we will contact you, to offer advice and quote any additional costs necessary before proceeding with the repair. During servicing batteries are fully discharge tested, and when supplied, the battery charger is profile tested to check it is charging the batteries correctly to ensure maximum life.
