Stairlifts Prices and Costs

We will happily quote you a price over the phone
Stairlift Prices
When buying a stairlift, price is important but it shouldn't be the only factor you take into account when purchasing a product like a stairlift that is installed in your home that you will rely on in the future. Please remember to consider the following points too when looking at stairlift prices:
- Quality of the brand you are buying
- How long the company you are dealing with has been establish
- How long will it take to get the stairlift installed
- How long is the warranty period
- What is the breakdown response time
- Am I comparing like for like on the specification I require
Below we will aim to give a fairly accurate guide to what the different types of stairlift will cost.
There are two categories of stairlifts; straight stairlifts and curved stairlifts. With both categories the stairlift unit itself is very similar but the big difference is the rail that the stairlift travels on. The rail for a curved stairlift has to be designed and manufactured to follow the tread of the stairs. Every piece of rail has to be the exact length and the correct angle. It is designed uniquely for your home because curved stairways are all different. For this reason there is very little difference in the price between a reconditioned and a new curved stairlift. It is this fact that makes curved stairlifts much more expensive than straight stairlifts. With a straight stairlift even though the rail has to be cut and prepared for the correct length there or no curved angles involved.
Outlined in the table below is a guide to what each type of stairlift will cost. In the case of a straight stairlift we assume there are no complications or powered options required. With a curved we base the figures on one 90 degree bend and 5 metres of rail. These prices listed are base prices and a guide however if you call us, unlike many of our competitors, we are happy to talk through your requirements and give you a fairly accurate estimate of cost over the phone. This is of course is subject to a survey being undertaken.
Stairlift Prices | New from | Used from |
---|---|---|
Curved Stairlifts | £3300.00 | £2900.00 |
Straight Stairlifts | £1395.00 | £995.00 |
Straight supply only | £495.00 |
